PNC bank had me thinking Lil' Wayne got out today and I missed it, I was blown. However, I realized yesterday was the 2nd since it was the day for mid-term elections and I finally knew it was Wednesday since I spent all of my day in a lab class. I regained my composure, felt comfortable in that I knew what day it was and continued on about my day.
For the 2nd best Wayne song I've picked Cannon, the version that wasn't on Dedication 2. Not a fan of DJ Drama hollering every 5 seconds, in addition to Freeway, Willie the Squid and 2 other clowns jumping on the beat. Clifford Harris, Chris Bridges and Trevor Smith (Busta, I actually had to look that one up) team up with Wayne and make those other dudes look like jokes.
I've picked this song as #2 because, for my money it gets no better than this as far as a singular verse is concerned. Such flow and prose in a single verse doesn't exist, and the only reason this song isn't #1 because that song is actually a freestyle which pays homage to various pies and Cal Ripken.
