Good afternoon kiddies!
Today I have a new singer/songwriter for y'all to enjoy. Mike Grubbs is on the aforementioned show, and if I'm not mistaken it's played on the CW (formally the WB, why they changed names we'll never know).
I digress, I just "picked-up" Wakey!Wakey!'s "Almost Everything I Wish I'd Said The Last Time I Saw You..." and I must say it's rather good. I heard "Twenty-Two" when it was first released to digitally download and I immediately looked for the entire album, today that day has come.
I'm not good at putting labels on what certain artists sound like, but if I must say Wakey!Wakey! bares a striking resemblance to Jack's Mannequin. Not a bad thing. Here's "Twenty-Two" and a link to BUY the album... hopefully that way the labels won't get pissed.
