Oh Morrissey & Johnny Marr how I love thee, let me count the ways... fuck that. I don't have the time, I'm too busy taking Derby Co. to The Coca Cola Championship & English Cup double via FIFA.
Covers are pretty simple to find, good ones are pretty plentiful. Great ones are something special. It's common for a fairly unknown band to take something classic and crap it up and force us to listen, it's even better when a folk band from England covers a sweet little new wave song by their countrymen (foreshadowing, pay attention). Today's The Smiths' song that is being covered is "Girlfriend In A Coma" by Noah and The Whales (no relation, I don't have whales of my own...).
