Happy Friday to you and yours. At this time I trust everyone is home and no longer at their job, otherwise you're stealing company time... viewing music blogs and wasting time. I'm on to you.
Anyway I'm here to talk about football, the season is about to start up following the boring and disappointing World Cup.
I watched "The Damned United" last night and I must say I was very intrigued by the story of Brian Clough (pictured above w/ what looks to be UEFA's Champion's League Trophy [but I don't think he ever managed a team to that]) and his time at Derby (Go On The Rams!), as well as Mr. Clough's short-lived time at Leeds United. Clough saw six weeks and was then sacked as Leed's manager, he's still regarded as one of the greatest managers ever.
So to kind of bring this all together I'll post up some songs from the FIFA video game's soundtrack from previous years... or at least the songs I've enjoyed.
The Answering Machine-It's Over! It's Over! It's Over!
Black Kids-I'm Not Going To etc. (Twelves Remix)
Head Automatica-Brooklyn Is Burning
The Streets-Fit But You Know It
The Whitest Boy Alive-1517
